Your Maintenance Checklist
Keeping up with these easy maintenance checks can help you detect a problem before it starts and protect the integrity of your investment:
- Inspect your filters monthly, especially during ‘peak seasons’. Now would be a great time to check them since you’ve probably been using your A/C quite a bit this Summer.
- Consider hiring a professional to inspect your ventilation systems twice a year. It’s recommended to have your A/C inspected in the Spring and your furnace inspected in the Fall.
- Keep clutter away from your furnace or air handler. Keep about 2-3 feet of space around it to prevent unnecessary damage.
- Be sure that there are no leaks.
